Powder brows are the eyebrow micropigmentation technique we work in: a soft shading, lighter at the front and more defined towards the tail, like a light powder makeup. We don’t do microblading (hairstrokes), only powder brows. Many clients look for it as an eyebrow tattoo or permanent eyebrow makeup.

How the session goes
- 1 Consultation and sketch — We measure your facial proportions and draw the outline in pencil until you are completely happy with the shape.
- 2 Choosing the pigment — The shade is matched to the natural colour of your hair and skin.
- 3 Local anaesthetic — A numbing cream, for comfort.
- 4 Pigmentation — The pigment is placed superficially, in the powder technique.
- 5 Aftercare advice — You get clear instructions for the healing period.
Healing, in short
- For the first few days the brows look more intense and darker — that is normal.
- A light flaking follows; the true colour usually shows after two to three weeks.
- Until healed: no sauna, pool, beach or direct sun, and leave the crusts alone.
- The touch-up is done 1–3 months after the first session; the result generally lasts 1–3 years.
Have old permanent makeup?
Old pigment on the brows is removed with a remover, usually over several sessions, and at least 1.5 months pass after the last one before new permanent makeup.
FAQ
Do you also do hairstrokes (microblading)?
No. We don’t do microblading (hairstrokes) or the combined technique, only powder brows: a soft shading that looks like light powder makeup rather than a drawn outline.
How long do powder brows last?
Generally 1–3 years, depending on your skin type, lifestyle and sun exposure; oily skin fades the pigment faster. The touch-up is done 1–3 months after the first session, and a refresh between 3 months and a year keeps the colour.
Does eyebrow micropigmentation hurt?
Thanks to the numbing cream, the discomfort is minimal: most clients describe it as a light scratching or tingling. Everyone’s threshold is different, and sensitivity can be slightly higher on certain days of the cycle.
I have old permanent makeup — can you cover it with powder brows?
Old pigment on the brows is first removed with a remover, usually over several sessions. After the last remover session, at least 1.5 months must pass before new permanent makeup. At the consultation we’ll see what can be done in your case.
