What types of makeup can I book at the studio?
We offer daytime makeup (natural and subtle), evening makeup (more defined, with a focus on the eyes or lips) and event makeup, including bridal. We always tailor the look to your features, your outfit and the occasion. Tell us your plans when you book, and at MY MARAFET STUDIO in central Chișinău we'll have everything ready for your day.
How long does a makeup session take, and how long does it last during the day?
A makeup session takes on average 45–60 minutes, while event or bridal makeup can take up to 75–90 minutes, with trials and detailing. Using quality products and the right setting sprays, the makeup holds beautifully throughout the day and evening. For important events we recommend booking a trial in advance at our studio on Bd. Constantin Negruzzi 6.
Should I arrive with prepped skin, or will you help with skincare before the makeup?
Ideally, arrive with clean, moisturized, makeup-free skin, but if you didn't get the chance, we'll prep it on the spot. We recommend hydrating well in the days beforehand, especially for a flawless finish. If your lashes or brows are done with us, the final look will be even more harmonious — book it all conveniently in central Chișinău.
How much does a makeup artist cost?
Evening makeup starts at 1 000 MDL and bridal makeup for your wedding at 1 600 MDL. If you need the makeup artist outside opening hours, it is 100 MDL extra per hour.
