When is it better to postpone brow shaping, tinting or lamination?

We postpone the treatment if there is irritation, broken skin, eczema or sunburn around the brows, if you have recently had a chemical peel or retinoid treatment on the forehead, or if you know you are allergic to tint, henna or lamination products — when needed we do a patch test 24–48 hours before. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, tinting and lamination are discussed with your artist first. The short consultation at the start of every visit is exactly for this.

What is the difference between shaping, henna and brow lamination?

Shaping (brow architecture) sets the correct form by removing excess hairs. Henna tints both the hairs and the skin, giving a fuller-looking brow for 2–4 weeks. Lamination sets the hairs in a neat direction and keeps them disciplined for 4–6 weeks, with tinting optional. At MY MARAFET STUDIO in central Chișinău, we choose the right procedure together based on your face shape and style.

How long does brow lamination last and how do I care for it?

Lamination lasts on average 4–6 weeks, depending on your hair type. For the first 24 hours avoid water, steam and touching the area, then apply a nourishing oil daily to keep the hairs healthy. We walk you through every step at the end of your appointment at our studio on Bd. Constantin Negruzzi 6.

How long does a brow architecture appointment take, and should I grow my brows out first?

Brow shaping (architecture) takes around 20 minutes, and with tint, henna or brow lamination the appointment is about an hour — exactly the durations shown in the price list. You don't need to grow your brows out for long — we work from their current shape and refine it gradually. Booking online is easy, and the studio is simple to find in central Chișinău.

How much do brow shaping and brow lamination cost?

With a Master Pro, brow shaping starts at 250 MDL, shaping with tint at 420 MDL and with henna at 450 MDL. Brow lamination (listed as biofixation) costs from 500 MDL without tint and from 600 MDL with tint, shape correction included. Master Expert prices are higher; the full list is in the table above.
