When is it better to postpone a lash lift? (contraindications)

A lash lift is gentle, but we postpone it if you have a known allergy to the products used (we do a patch test when needed), inflammation, irritation, conjunctivitis or lesions around the eyes, recent eye surgery or ophthalmic procedures, or very fragile lashes damaged by previous aggressive treatments. During pregnancy and breastfeeding we recommend caution and a conversation with your artist first. If you wear contact lenses, simply remove them before the treatment.

What is lash lamination and how is it different from extensions?

Lash lamination works with your natural lashes: it lifts and curls them beautifully from the root, nourishes them and, optionally, tints them for a more defined look. Unlike extensions, no artificial lashes are added — the effect is natural, your own lashes but better. It's ideal if you want a subtle result with no daily upkeep, and at MY MARAFET STUDIO in Chișinău we'll honestly advise which option suits you.

How long does lash lamination last?

The lifted-lash effect lasts on average 6–8 weeks — essentially until your natural lashes renew in their normal cycle. Unlike extensions, it doesn't need refills every 2–3 weeks; you simply repeat the procedure once the effect gradually fades. You can book your next session right at our studio in central Chișinău.

Can I use mascara and wear makeup after lash lamination?

Yes, you can use mascara after lamination, though many clients find they no longer need it. The key is to avoid water, steam and makeup for the first 24 hours so the set holds well. After that you can return to your normal routine; we give you all the aftercare tips at the end of your appointment on Bd. Constantin Negruzzi 6.

How much does a lash lift cost?

A lash lift starts at 600 MDL, with tint and botox included. The combo with brow lamination is from 1 100 MDL, the combo with brow shaping and tint from 900 MDL, and a lash tint on its own from 100 MDL.
