How Often to Visit: The Maintenance Calendar

The question we hear most at the end of an appointment is not about price, it is about time: “so when do I come next?” Every treatment has its own rhythm, dictated by how quickly your hairs renew, not by our diary. We have gathered all the intervals here, so you do not have to hunt for them across seven pages.

Why the rhythm matters more than the treatment

An excellent brow shaping left for two months without a correction looks worse than a modest one maintained on time. Hair has its own cycle: it grows, it falls, it renews — and all our treatments work with that cycle, not against it. That is why the interval is not a commercial strategy but a biological constraint.

The intervals below are averages. They move with the growth speed of your hair, with its density, with the shape of your brow and with whatever else you have had done before. Your artist adjusts them for you at the end of every visit, looking at your hairs rather than at a table.

Shaping and tinting: every 3–4 weeks

Brow correction is the treatment with the tightest rhythm. Within three to four weeks the removed hairs grow back and start to weigh the shape down visually — the lower edge thickens, the tail is lost, and the face takes on a tired air for no obvious reason.

Colour has its own calendar, shorter than that of the shape: on the skin, henna holds up to around 12 days on a normal skin type and much less on oily or flaking skin, while on the hair it holds up to a month. That is exactly why many clients come for the correction and ask for the colour to be redone in the same session.

Brow lamination: once every 3 months, no exceptions

Here is the one apparent contradiction in the whole calendar. The effect of brow lamination shows, on average, for 4–6 weeks. The treatment, however, is not repeated every 4–6 weeks but once every three months. The difference is important, and it is why we sometimes say “no” to a client who would happily pay for it.

Brow lamination is done only once every 3 months, so that the brows have time for a complete renewal. If you laminate the same hairs twice, dehydration sets in, because brow lamination is a fairly aggressive treatment. In that case the hairs simply break and gaps appear in the brows.

From the studio’s experience

In the two months between the end of the effect and the next treatment, the shape is held with plain brow shaping and a morning gel. The details of what the treatment does and does not do are on the page about brow lamination.

Lash lamination: 6–8 weeks

The curled-lash effect lasts on average 6–8 weeks, that is, until your natural lashes renew on their own cycle. It does not need a touch-up halfway through, as extensions do — it is simply repeated when the effect gradually fades. Tinting and botox are included in the treatment, so there is nothing separate to book.

Extensions: an infill every 2–3 weeks

Natural lashes fall out and renew constantly, so we recommend an infill every 2–3 weeks. An infill refreshes the volume and costs less than a new set. If you leave it too long, you may need a new set instead of an infill — not because we impose that, but because there is not enough left to build on.

  • brow shaping and tinting — 3–4 weeks;
  • brow lamination — once every 3 months;
  • lash lamination — 6–8 weeks;
  • lash extension infill — 2–3 weeks;
  • facial threading — 2–4 weeks;
  • micropigmentation — touch-up at 1–3 months, then a refresh.

How your home care helps you reach the upper end of each interval is set out at length in our guide to lash extension aftercare.

Micropigmentation: touch-up at 1–3 months, then a refresh

Micropigmentation runs on a two-stage calendar. The first session is not the complete work: at 1–3 months comes the touch-up, which settles the colour and fills in the areas where the pigment has faded. Only after that do we talk about the result.

The work then lasts 1–3 years in general, depending on your skin type, the shade chosen and your care routine. The refresh is done somewhere between three months and a year after the work — it even has its own line on the price list, precisely because it is a natural stage rather than a repair.

How to build a year of appointments

If you have both brows and lashes done, your natural rhythm is a visit roughly once a month, with a brow lamination at every third one. The simplest approach is to book your next slot before you leave the studio: the shape is fresh in your mind and your artist knows exactly when your hairs will be expecting you.

Two months of the year behave differently from the rest. December fills up from November, and in August slots go very quickly, because everybody wants to leave on holiday already done. If you want a particular date in those periods, book a few weeks ahead, not a few days.

FAQ

What happens if I skip a correction visit?

Nothing is spoiled for good: the hairs grow back and the shape loads up visually. At your next visit your artist has more work to do, sometimes half an hour more, and getting back to the line you want may take two stages rather than one.

Can I combine several treatments in one visit?

Yes, that is exactly what the combo treatments are for: lash lamination with brow lamination takes around two hours, as does lash lamination with brow shaping and tinting. Tell us when you book what you want to combine, so we can reserve the time.

How far ahead should I book for December?

Start in November. December is the month when we get the most messages along the lines of “do you still have a slot?”, and the days before the holidays fill first. The same rule applies in August, before people leave on holiday.
