Lip Care After Permanent Makeup: A Guide to the First 10 Days

You’ve had lip permanent makeup done — the first 10 days decide half of the result. The quick guide from MY MARAFET STUDIO:

Days 1–3

• Your lips will be slightly swollen and intensely coloured — that’s normal;
• Apply a thin layer of the recommended cream a few times a day;
• Eat carefully: avoid hot, spicy food and citrus; drink through a straw.

Days 4–10

• Fine scabs appear — do NOT touch them, they come off on their own;
• No lipsticks or glosses until fully healed;
• No sauna, pool or intense workouts — sweat irritates the area.

After day 10

The colour looks light at first, then settles into its final shade over 3–4 weeks. The touch-up at 4–8 weeks (1 400 lei) finalises the result, which lasts you 1–2 years.
